Nathaniel Moher Brings His Wit To Safe Harbour


Moher's script for the short film Quarantine Fling (Brett Butt and Nacy Roberston from Corner Gas), was nominated for best original Screenplay at the Cannes Short Film Festival, and best short by the Writers Guild of Canada. It won best short at the Hollywood Verge Film Awards, and the European Short Film Festival, and best comedy at the Venice Short Film Awards.

Pleiadian Pictures is pleased to announce that Nathaniel Moher of Vancouver,  will be writing and producing, the television series Safe Harbour.

Nathaniel is an award-winning writer/producer from Vancouver, Canada, known for his work on the Disney/YTV animated series Go Away, Unicorn, APTN drama Smoke(d), YTV/Netflix’s half-hour sitcom Some Assembly Required, YTV/Disney’s sitcom Mr. Young, City TV/Hulu sitcom Package Deal, and Disney’s Pup Academy.

His MOW, Hopeless Romantic, premiered on the Pixl network in 2016. He’s also worked in theatre, with his play, The Night We Missed The Apocalypse, which he co-wrote, premiering in 2012 at The Cultch in Vancouver, Canada. Beyond his film and television writing, Nathaniel has written for various publications, some of which include The Gabriola Sounder, Backofthebook.ca, and The Flying Shingle.

Moher is a film and television vet, having worked in various positions, including production coordinator, creative consultant, executive story editor, co-producer and writer. Safe Harbour Executive Producer Travis Turner and Nathaniel previously worked together on the TV series Some Assembly Required, where Turner played one of the lead characters, and Moher was the executive story editor, writer and co-producer on the YTV/Netflix show.

Safe Harbour is created and written by Jules L. Pitch, and has universal messages meant to remind humanity of the importance and power of nature, human connections, standing up for what is right and the realization of oneness through spiritual growth. The show takes notes from series like Parks and Recreation, Rutherford Falls and Schitt’s Creek.
