Triple Threat Jordan Waunch Joins Safe Harbour
Waunch created the story for Shadow Of The Rougarou, and directed the six part dark western mini series set in 1885, it is currently playing on APTN and streaming on lumi.

Pleiadian Pictures is pleased to announce that Jordan Waunch of Vancouver, will be writing, directing and acting in the television series Safe Harbour. Jordan is Métis and an active member of the Métis Nation British Columbia, and a graduate from BCIT’s Television & Video Production Program and Capilano University’s Acting for the Stage and Screen Program. 

He produced on the television series Boss HQ Media and Beaver’s Edge, and was a recipient of the ISO/Netflix Indigenous Production Apprenticeships and Cultural Mentorships Grant. Executive Producer Travis Turner was instrumental in bringing Jordan into the project. 

“We’re very excited to have Jordan involved. He is extremely talented and well read. His vision, plus experience in front and behind the camera will of course help our team. He certainly will ensure that we do justice to the Métis and Indigenous cast, crew and viewers, while honouring the culture, history and people of Métis and Indigenous decent”, Pitch said.

Safe Harbour is created and written by Jules L. Pitch, and has universal messages meant to remind humanity of the importance and power of nature, human connections, standing up for what is right and the realization of oneness through spiritual growth. The show takes notes from series like Parks and Recreation, Rutherford Falls and Schitt’s Creek.
