Pleiadian Pictures is pleased to announce that Travis Turner of Vancouver, will be executive producing the television series Safe Harbour. 

A graduate of Langara Film Arts program, Travis and has years in front of the screen working with actors, writers, directors, producers and executive producers. Through those experiences he has developed relationships within the industry, which he plans to tap into to help build the creative team for Safe Harbour. 

Turner co-produced the music documentary, Van City Raps, that was an Official Selection and won Best Canadian Documentary at the 2022 Vancouver Independent Independent Film Festival, won Best Original Score at the 2022 Rotterdam Independent Film Festival, and was a Semi Finalist at the 2022 New Film Makers Austin. Travis also executive produced the short films, High Streaks and Scars.

“Bringing in Travis, has injected energy, movement and positive momentum that all projects require, to have any chance to make it to screen. He has been instrumental in building a strong creative team, which I’m very grateful for. It truly comes down to having the right people, good people, who care about making meaningful content, and this we have,” Pitch said.

Safe Harbour is created and written by Jules L. Pitch, and has universal messages meant to remind humanity of the importance and power of nature, human connections, standing up for what is right and the realization of oneness through spiritual growth. The show takes notes from series like Parks Recreation, Rutherford Falls and Schitt’s Creek.
